I was the lead developer on many projects from microsites to enterprise level template packages that included the development of styleguides to be used by our client's IT teams for future development. Every site was built to W3C standards, we utilized strict naming conventions and clearly notated styles and code allowing for easy follow up by our clients

My responsibilities included:

• Coding in HTML/CSS, Javascript, PHP and ASPX (both VB and C# depending on the needs of the client or application)
• Coding within content management systems such as Sharepoint, CMSMS, Wordpress and Drupal
• Defining and developing internal standards for coding and development process
• Designing and developing E-blasts and E-newsletters that were launched from Outlook, Word MailMerge, Exact Target and MindFire (which utilizes PURL technology)
• Learning new applications based on clients needs as well as evaluating new technologies for their potential capabilities and need fulfillment

As an accessibility expert I was brought in to improve the overall accessibility and quality of work being produced by the GIDC team within Chevron who was responsible for creating and updating the 120k page intranet

My responsibilities included:

• Defining the standards and level of compliance within GIDC
• Creating and implementing a plan for training accessible web design to the developers
• Training developers on Section508 and W3C standards
• Creating and maintaining a system of evaluation for monitoring all projects produced by GIDC

• Created W3C compliant XHTML / CSS templates and layouts optimized for search engine robots and spiders, following WCAG and section 508 usability and accessibility standards
• Created the core template package of 14 basic layouts that reduced production time also aided in developing a corporate-wide naming convention to maintain consistency across multiple design teams.
• Was the first developer to produce deliverable tabless CSS based websites to the department and helped make it the standard through training and leadership

• Responsible for overseeing 300+ retail outlets, ensuring proper display, prompt customer service and development of new customers

• Developed a consistent Corporate Identity by defining the market and producing collaterals (brochures, mail-outs, custom garage door layouts, and web page) targeting specific demographic groups.
